Soffel is the music project of Sophia Duhina, an independent Ukrainian artist, songwriter, and producer. Her sound brings together cinematic dark pop, layered synths, delicate piano, and intimate vocals. Her songs explore growing up, uncertainty, and the things that can be easier to sing than to say.
She writes and produces her own music, developing each song from its first idea to the full arrangement and working with an engineer on mixing and mastering. Many of those ideas arrive at night, followed by rounds of small changes and enough repeat listens to need a little distance by release day.
She began experimenting with music in 2015 and started releasing regularly as Soffel in 2024. Her debut album, Moonlight Whispers (2025), includes Disappear, Midnight Sun, and Careless Anxiety. Her second album, Even Oceans Fall Apart (2026), continues that exploration of personal stories through atmospheric pop.
Outside music, Sophia works in tech, collects vinyl records, and brings home little figurines from the cities she visits. One of her dreams is to take her songs on tour and sing them together with the people who have made them part of their own lives.
